Protection plans

Explore our protection plan to safeguard your stored items against damage and loss at our storage facilities.

This is an extension of MyStorage’s Terms of Service.

As a MYSTORAGE customer, this note serves as proof for the customer to be entitled to insurance coverage against the following listed risks (at any MYSTORAGE storage facility).

Scope of Application

Insurance will cover damage caused by fire, explosion, lightning, earthquake, flood, and storm.

Additionally, insurance will also cover damage caused by vandalism, robbery, and theft with specific evidence.

Damage caused by aircraft crashes or collisions with any road vehicles.

Exclusions:

  1. Wear, tear, breakage, chipping, scratching, staining, denting, twisting and bending, changes in temperature or atmospheric conditions, changes in electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems, mold, oxidation/rust, natural degradation, or other inherent factors.
  2. Paint, perishable goods, liquids.
  3. Motor vehicles, motorcycles, excluding lawnmowers and pedestrian vehicles.
  4. Loss, confiscation, or requisition by the government or local authorities.
  5. Ammunition, flammable materials, flammable liquids, compressed goods or liquids.
  6. Nuclear explosions, radioactive contamination, ionization.
  7. War, civil war, riots, strikes, or civil unrest.
  8. Cash, postage stamps, gold, silver, and jewelry, securities.
    The terms of service and other exceptions in the Terms of Service and Prohibited Items also apply.

Approximate Insurance & Protection Package

  • Basic Package: Free. The Basic package compensates customers 500,000 VND/cubic meter, with an insurance coverage limit of 10,000,000 VND.
  • The Silver package: 50,000 VND/month with an insurance coverage limit of 25,000,000 VND.
  • The Gold package: 100,000 VND/month with an insurance coverage limit of 50,000,000 VND.
  • The Platinum package: 200,000 VND/month with an insurance coverage limit of 100,000,000 VND.
