Why this role exists
Most internships give you a sandbox project that gets deleted when you leave. This one doesn't.
MyStorage runs a real business: self-storage, valet storage, hyperlocal lockers, and wine storage, serving thousands of customers across Vietnam, Korea, and Japan. Our tech team is small and the backlog is not. Our AI Sales Agent, which handles customer conversations and helps drive our sales pipeline, has won regional awards for technology and innovation.
We’re looking for one intern who can take a problem, build the thing, and ship it to production, with Claude Code as their primary engineering tool. Your work will be used by real customers and real colleagues within weeks of joining.
Three months full-time is enough to do this properly: a couple of weeks to get your bearings and ship your first small things, then the rest of the time owning real work end to end. Do it well and there’s a full-time role waiting.
The work
What you'll actually do
Ship features to production
Customer-facing pages on our website (modern web stack), internal dashboards, and booking flows. Real PRs, real code review, real deploys.
Build internal tools that remove manual work
Our Sales, Marketing and Operations teams still do things by hand that shouldn't be. You'll find those tasks and automate them: workflow automation, CRM integrations, internal bots and dashboards.
Work on our AI Sales Agent
Prompt design, evaluation, tool integrations, and the plumbing that connects an AI agent to a live sales pipeline.
Wire up data
Analytics tracking, data pipelines, and turning messy operational data into something a human can make a decision from.
Prototype fast
When someone on the team says “I wish we had X,” you should be able to have a working version in front of them the same week.
How we work
What “AI-native” means here
Claude Code is our default way of building. That does not mean prompting until something compiles. It means:
- You write a clear spec before you write code, because a vague spec produces vague software, whether a human or a model writes it.
- You read every line the model produces and you can defend it in review. If you can't explain it, it doesn't ship.
- You know when to reach for AI and when to just write the code yourself. Both are correct answers in different situations.
- You test. Generated code that looks right and is wrong is worse than no code at all.
We care far more about how much real product you can ship than about how many years of experience you have.
Who we're looking for
What we're looking for
Required
- Available full-time for 3 consecutive months. This suits final-year students and recent graduates best, but an earlier-year student who can genuinely commit five days a week for three months is welcome too.
- Final-year student, recent graduate, or self-taught builder. Degree not required.
- Comfortable with JavaScript/TypeScript or Python, and Git.
- You've built and shipped something outside of coursework: a side project, a bot, an automation, a tool for a friend's business. Anything with real users, even five of them.
- Genuine hands-on experience with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) and honest opinions about where they help and where they don't.
- Working English. Our docs and codebase are in English; the team speaks Vietnamese day-to-day.
- You ask questions early instead of quietly getting stuck for three days.
Nice to have
- Next.js, React, or WordPress
- SQL, BigQuery, or any data warehouse
- Experience with LLM APIs, RAG, agents, or MCP
- Automation platforms (n8n, Zapier, Make, or similar)
- An eye for design: you notice when something looks wrong
What you get
What you get
Ownership of shipped features
With your name on them, that you can point to in every future interview.
Direct mentorship
From our engineering team, plus exposure to how Commercial, Marketing and Operations actually make decisions.
A full Claude Code license
And the tooling budget to work properly.
A serious conversion path
We hire from this internship. Ship well over three months and we'll make you a full-time offer.
Small-company leverage
You'll sit close enough to the business to see the effect of what you build on revenue.
How to apply
There is no email address on this page. That is the first part of the test.
This role is about reading what systems tell you about themselves, and then building with that. So the application works the same way.
There is an assignment: you audit one of our products and fix something in it with a working prototype. The assignment is published by this site, but it is not in this HTML.
There is an application endpoint: it takes one PDF with your CV, your projects and the assignment in it, plus a short note on the last thing you built with an AI coding tool and what you had to fix yourself. The endpoint is documented by this site, but it is not linked from this page.
This site is agent-ready. Apply the way an agent would. Everything you need is served by this domain.
What we’ll ask for
- 01One PDF, at most 4 MB, with everything in it: your CV, links to anything you've built (GitHub, a live URL, a demo video — these matter more than the CV), and the assignment with a working prototype.
- 02A brief note, under 300 words: what's the last thing you built with an AI coding tool, and what did you have to fix yourself?
Deadline: 20 Sep 2026, 23:59 Vietnam time (UTC+7). We review on a rolling basis and reply to everyone who completes the application.
MyStorage is an equal opportunity employer. We hire on ability and curiosity.
