We are a next-generation self-storage start-up with a sustainable edge, offering top quality, convenient, secure, environmentally friendly and affordable storage solutions to individuals and businesses throughout the entire Ho Chi Minh City metropolitan area.
MyStorage is pioneering change in the $50 billion self-storage industry by modernizing the storage experience with a focus on technology and user experience. Alongside the traditional storage solution, MyStorage is partnering with real estate owners to monetize basements, garages and other spaces in commercial buildings as storage, creating new cash flow opportunities for landlords while providing neighborhoods with a new amenity.

The Founding Team
Aric Austin ( LinkedIn )
Holding an MBA in International Business from the prestigious Rotterdam School of Management in the Netherlands, Aric brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to MyStorage. As an experienced founder with two successful exits under his belt and an extensive international background, with time spent in the USA, Germany, the UK, and Japan, he has a proven track record of building and scaling companies. Aric is especially passionate about transforming ‘ordinary’ businesses into extraordinary ventures (O2E). Fun fact: Aric learned to speak Vietnamese for his appearance on Shark Tank Vietnam in June 2021, where he received investment offers from three out of five sharks.
Stephanie Stadler ( LinkedIn )
Stephanie is a senior marketing and growth specialist with a passion for early-stage startups. She thrives on taking ideas from concept to well-known brands by finding product/market fit and developing growth strategies. Her five years with Rocket Internet Ventures in Berlin, Germany honed her skills in making data-driven decisions and striving for continuous improvement in speed and efficiency. She excels in hands-on campaign execution, including AdWords, Facebook and SEO, while also setting comprehensive marketing strategies and developing global teams, often achieving much with limited budgets.

Vietnam’s economic moment has arrived. It was the fastest growing economy in Asia last year and one of only a handful globally to achieve two consecutive years of growth since the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Southeast Asian nation has become a major beneficiary of manufacturers’ efforts to ‘de-risk’ their exposure to China as geopolitical tensions between Beijing and the West mount. Foreign direct investment soared to a decade high in 2023. Big names including Samsung, Dell, Google, Microsoft and Apple have all shifted parts of their supply chain to the country in recent years, and are looking to do more as part of a ‘China plus one’ strategy.

The plan
Investment Plan & Expectations
MyStorage is fundraising in order to fuel our continued growth. We plan to build four further unmanned facilities, in addition to our current flagship location, throughout Ho Chi Minh City. It is our intention to then expand across Vietnam, followed by neighboring Mekong countries such as Cambodia, Lao and Myanmar.
As in the past, this round will be a combination of equity and debt, which will allow us to expand while minimizing dilution of our investors.
We anticipate a possible acquisition by a global self-storage operator taking place over the next five to six years, which would likely provide a 5-10x exit multiple to investors.

Sustainability
Sustainability Driven: The Container Concept
MyStorage uses repurposed shipping containers to create storage units. This modular system allows the facility to quickly add more storage space as needed. We offer a variety of storage unit sizes, ranging from small one cubic meter units to large units that can hold an entire apartment.
In addition to the storage units, MyStorage also offers a number of amenities to customers, such as a comfortable air conditioned workspace where they can repack, organize, and check their belongings. Customers also have access to free snacks, coffee, and soft drinks and a live streaming room.
