What is MyStorage’s charity bin?

Do you have old clothes, shoes, or stuffed animals that you no longer use and would like to donate? Visit MyStorage at 375 Võ Nguyên Giáp, An Phú, Thủ Đức, Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh! Located right outside MyStorage’s self-storage facility is a charity bin. Its purpose is to help MyStorage safely store the clothes and other items you donate. MyStorage’s charity bin is proudly the first clothing donation bin in Vietnam made from 150kg of recycled plastic. It may be a small effort, but MyStorage sincerely hopes this initiative will encourage people to support those in need while raising environmental awareness and inspiring collective action.

How does MyStorage handle donated clothing?

Every two weeks, MyStorage’s charity bin is emptied. We take the donated clothes and other items to Phước Tường Pagoda, a local charitable organization in Thành phố Thủ Đức, Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh. There, dedicated volunteers carefully inspect and sort every item of clothing to ensure that recipients receive donations in the best possible condition. The volunteers then distribute the clothes on our behalf to those who truly need them.

Recap of MyStorage’s International Children’s Day Charity Activity

On June 1, in celebration of International Children’s Day, the MyStorage team visited Phước Tường Pagoda to personally deliver clothing donated by our customers to the charitable organization there. To mark the occasion, we also prepared gifts of sweets and snacks for the children at the pagoda.

Seeing the children’s radiant smiles at Phước Tường Pagoda was the most precious gift MyStorage received during this visit. Their warm welcome and joy upon receiving the gifts gave us even more motivation to continue our journey of bringing positive change to the community.
